On 23-27 May 2022 the Department of Didactics and Culture of Education Studies, Faculty of Education at Kazimierz Wielki University hosted Mr Erkkie Haipinge - deputy director of Center for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT) at the University of Namibia.
The researchers of the Department prepared a programme enabling the visiting lecturer the cultural and scientific exchange of reflections and experiences. During his short visit Mr Errkie Haipinge:
- attended a scientific meeting with the researchers of the Department of Didactics and Culture of Education. During the meeting various areas of scientific research were characterized and the possibilities of further cooperation were discussed
- met the members of IDEO (Students’ Scientific Association) gave a lecture on Technology Enhanced Learning in Namibian context
- gave an online lecture on Blended Learning planning, implementation and monitoring in Learning and Assessment Design for Mobile Learning contexts aimed at the students of the Faculty of Education
- visited International School of Bydgoszcz where he had the opportunity to meet the school authorities and the students
- met the UKW authorities: prof. UKW dr hab. Helena Ostrowicka and dr Elżbieta Okońska
- gave a lecture on Learning and pedagogical innovations for the 21st century: a case project – based learning at the University of Namibia. Promoting Open Educational Resources in teaching in higher education contexts aimed at the researchers of the Faculty of Education
During the stay, there was plenty of time to discover the cultural space of the University and Bydgoszcz. All the events, in which Mr. Erkkie Haipinge participated, created an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from one another.
